What do we do?
Le Canadel Cars are able to source a wide variety of used cars from the UK. Many of them are just a year old or less and are covered by the balance of the manufacturers warranty.
Due to the way these cars are registered (business not private), they do not require VAT to be paid as long as they are exported. This means that we on the islands can take advantage of the huge savings to be made.
Make your own comparisons (see the example deals either side) but, with VAT currently running at 20% the figures really do stack up.
What we don't do is sell you cars! We simply provide you with a list of cars located in the UK.

We will supply you with all the advice you need to buy your car and have it delivered to the Channel Islands.

Not at all.
To register the car in the islands, you will need a copy of the V5 (UK log book) and the supplier's invoice.
In Jersey, used cars need to go through a test prior to registration and VED together with GST must be paid
In Guernsey, used cars must be weighed on the weighbridge situated at the Monmains on North Side

Pricing
The prices you see on our price lists are what you pay for the car. In some cases there may be a charge for delivery to Portsmouth which you will be advised of. Generally this will be no more than a couple of hundred pounds.

Generally speaking, the cost of moving, shipping and registering your car should be no more than £500.
